Engagement Manager – Audit & Assurance

About the role

The Engagement Manager – Audit & Assurance will lead delivery of audit engagements, ensuring high‑quality service to clients while meeting internal performance targets. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, manage project timelines, and support the development of junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day practice objectives and meet Service Level Agreements.
• Communicate technical issues clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee seamless transition of new projects and clients.
• Plan and implement process changes, highlighting and resolving issues proactively.
• Control backlogs and review work quality in detail.
• Conduct regular client meetings and monitor financial KPIs such as WIP, debtors, and billings.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to seniors, supervisors, and staff.
• Ensure engagement management, quality assurance on audits, and business development activities.

Required profile

• Strong linguistic skills with excellent written and spoken English.
• Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to help others understand project contributions and provide constructive feedback.
• Proactive in setting ambitious goals, allocating resources, and monitoring performance.
• Effective at simplifying complex situations and delivering clear messages.
