Engineer Production & Production Systems Optimization

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Engineer – Production & Production Systems Optimization to support production planning, forecasting, performance monitoring and operational optimisation in a complex industrial environment. The role will focus on maximising production efficiency, improving asset performance and driving digital transformation through advanced analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Review and enhance production planning, forecasting, scheduling and deferment management processes in line with industry best practices.
• Develop short‑, medium‑ and long‑term production plans that balance operational capabilities with business requirements.
• Prepare daily, monthly and quarterly production performance reports and dashboards.
• Monitor real‑time production data, identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Planning, Commercial and Digital teams to implement optimisation initiatives.
• Support the integration of digital oilfield technologies, AI and advanced analytics into production workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Petroleum Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 7 years in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Energy or Utilities.
• Strong understanding of production systems, wells, process facilities and operational constraints.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication, collaboration and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Interest in digital oilfield technologies, AI and operational optimisation tools.
