Engineering Handyman – Maintenance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a versatile Engineering Handyman to join the maintenance team at our hotel in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure that all facilities and equipment are kept in excellent condition, supporting a high‑standard guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspections of buildings, equipment and installations to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform general repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and other areas.
• Install, assemble and adjust equipment and fixtures as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly, including emergency situations.
• Respond to maintenance requests and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and spare parts.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and external contractors.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in maintenance, repair or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Ability to operate power tools safely.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
