Engineering Manager – Oil & Gas Automation & Control Systems

About the role

Actemium Emirates Projects, part of VINCI Energies, is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering activities on major brownfield upgrade projects for the oil & gas sector in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee the design, construction and commissioning of turbine control, DCS, compressor control and related plant systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering disciplines: Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and Safety Engineering.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables meet project specifications, ADNOC requirements, applicable codes and schedules.
• Oversee engineering work on Turbine Control Systems (GE Mark VI / Mark VIe), DCS integration, Compressor Control Systems, Machine Monitoring, Electrical Power & UPS, Industrial Networks and Cybersecurity interfaces.
• Coordinate technical interfaces with OEMs, vendors, clients, EPC/PMC contractors and site teams.
• Conduct design, constructability, safety and technical reviews.
• Support procurement, vendor document reviews, FAT, IFAT, SAT, construction, commissioning and startup activities.
• Provide engineering support during shutdowns, site installation, system migration and commissioning phases.
• Monitor engineering progress, resource allocation, risks and technical quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager in oil & gas automation and control projects.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards and international engineering codes.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex technical interfaces.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
