About the role

The Engineering Manager will lead daily operations of the engineering department at Emirates Flight Catering in Dubai. This role is open exclusively to UAE nationals and involves overseeing specialist systems, facilities management, general maintenance and fire safety.

Key responsibilities

• Run daily operations of the engineering department.
• Manage and monitor smooth running of all department activities.
• Ensure continuous functioning of the department within EKFC.
• Complete tasks related to specialist systems, facilities management, general maintenance, and fire safety.
• Maintain stringent quality standards across engineering operations.
• Ensure compliance with EKFC policies and practices.
• Collaborate closely with multiple departments to support improvement projects.
• Drive operational excellence through cross‑functional teamwork.
• Research and provide guidance on industry updates and new engineering initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and implement relevant actions.
• Keep all engineering specifications updated, accessible, and effectively managed.
• Lead initiatives to improve engineering processes and safety standards.
