Engineering Trainee – Electrical & Automation (UAE National)

About the role

Vanderlande is seeking motivated UAE National students to join its Electrical and Automation Engineering team in Dubai. This full‑time trainee position offers hands‑on exposure to airport logistics projects, including automation systems, PLCs, and electrical installations.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily activities of the Electrical and Automation Engineering team.
• Assist in reviewing electrical and control drawings.
• Help prepare technical documents, reports, and checklists.
• Observe and aid testing and commissioning tasks.
• Track project updates, technical issues, and site activities.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams as needed.
• Follow safety, quality, and company procedures at all times.

Required profile

• UAE National (Family Book required).
• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation or a related field.
• Strong interest in automation, PLCs and industrial systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts is an advantage.
• Fluent in English with good communication and teamwork skills.
