English (EAL) Teacher

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an English (EAL) Teacher to join its network of schools in the United Arab Emirates starting August 2027. The role involves delivering the UK National Curriculum to a diverse student body and supporting the school’s inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create a climate for learning that encourages outstanding practice and sets clear teaching and learning objectives.
• Identify and differentiate for SEN, EAL and gifted & talented students, using assessment data and ICT to enhance learning.
• Maintain discipline in line with the school’s Behaviour for Learning Policy and record student progress systematically.
• Prepare and present reports to parents, attend events, and collaborate with specialists such as speech therapists and educational psychologists.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Teaching experience in the English National Curriculum across a range of ages.
• Ability to work under pressure, problem‑solve and demonstrate resilience.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and, preferably, experience in more than one international school.
