About the role

Join AL KHALEEJ INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL as a Stage 4 L8.0 teacher for the English High School, starting August 2026. This internship offers hands‑on experience delivering the curriculum, planning lessons and supporting a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the required English curriculum, adapting lessons to various learning styles.
• Plan and prepare quality lessons, maintaining records of curriculum plans, attendance and assessment.
• Assess, record and report student progress, providing feedback and marking work.
• Utilise classroom media and technology to enhance learning.
• Support students with individual needs, including ESL, low academic ability, gifted and talented learners.
• Participate in co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programmes and school events.
• Communicate regularly with parents and external stakeholders, upholding GEMS policies and values.
• Contribute to staff meetings, committees and professional development activities.

Required profile
