About the role
We are looking for a remote English Language Specialist to transcribe and edit audio content for a leading technology and information client. The contractor will deliver accurate, well‑formatted transcripts while working independently from any location.
Key responsibilities
- Transcribe audio files into clear, correctly punctuated English text.
- Edit and proofread transcripts for grammar, punctuation and readability.
- Follow client‑specific transcription guidelines and formatting standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Meet assigned deadlines for all transcription deliverables.
Required profile
- Fluent in English with strong listening comprehension.
- Prior experience in transcription, editing or proofreading.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines.
- Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
