Enterprise Architect – Cloud, Infrastructure & Healthcare Platforms

About the role

M42 Health is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead the design and governance of its cloud, infrastructure, networking, security, identity, workplace, AI, and healthcare platform architecture. The role ensures technology decisions support patient safety, operational resilience, regulatory compliance and digital transformation across a global network of facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and govern enterprise architecture strategies, standards, roadmaps and reference architectures for Azure, hybrid cloud, networking, security, identity and healthcare platforms.
• Design hybrid cloud and on‑premises environments, including Azure landing zones, data centres, disaster recovery, backup and business continuity.
• Establish architecture standards for Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune, Zero Trust and secure access management.
• Provide architectural direction for EMR/EHR, HIS, PACS, RIS, LIS and other clinical applications.
• Lead architecture governance, design reviews, technology evaluations, vendor assessments, RFPs and investment planning.
• Define AI platform strategy, Azure AI services, GPU infrastructure, MLOps/LLMOps and responsible AI adoption.
• Ensure compliance with ADHICS, ISO 27001, NIST and other healthcare cybersecurity frameworks.
• Mentor architects and senior engineers and communicate decisions, risks and costs to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, networking or cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in enterprise or solution architecture leadership.
• Strong background in Azure, hybrid cloud, networking, identity management and cybersecurity.
