Enterprise Services AI Agent Engineer Graduate – Corporate Service System

About the role

We are building an intelligent enterprise‑services platform to support ByteDance’s global growth. As a campus‑hire AI Application Engineer you will contribute to end‑to‑end delivery of AI‑powered business systems, collaborating with product, design and cross‑regional engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend services and the Agent runtime with a focus on code quality, readability and maintainability.
• Improve system performance and stability through profiling, tuning and continuous monitoring.
• Integrate internal enterprise systems into Agents using Tools, MCP, CLI or A2A interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to team coding standards and architectural conventions.
• Write clear, AI‑friendly technical documentation and contribute to the team knowledge base.
• Explore embedding AI capabilities into backend services and support AI‑driven feature development, evaluation and validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, AI or a related field.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms and computer systems with solid coding habits.
• Proficiency in at least one of Golang, Java or Python.
• Hands‑on experience with distributed systems and microservice architecture.
• Understanding of AI Agent architectural patterns such as reasoning, memory management and multi‑Agent collaboration.
• Effective communication and a genuine interest in the Agent engineering ecosystem.
