Enterprise & Solutions Architect Lead

About the role

The Enterprise & Solutions Architect Lead will steer enterprise architecture, technology governance and solutions delivery for Alef Education’s Digital Office. Reporting to the Head of Digital Office, the role combines change‑management leadership, technical oversight of solution engineering and strategic initiative execution, including AI automation and business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise change management and governance, conducting due‑diligence on new software, tools and platforms for fit, cost, security and compliance.
• Establish and operate the architecture review framework, approving technology changes and procurement requests.
• Oversee Solutions Architects and engineering teams, ensuring scalable, secure solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships and outsourced project delivery, maintaining quality, accountability and contract compliance.
• Drive strategic initiatives such as AI automation, and provide technical ownership of RFPs, proposals and bids.
• Conduct business impact analyses, maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans, and ensure ISO/IMS compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field; advanced degree and certifications (TOGAF, ITIL, PMP, CISSP, ISO 27001/22301) are a plus.
• 8‑10 years of experience in solutions or enterprise architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in enterprise change management, governance, cost analysis, vendor management and business continuity planning.
• Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder‑management skills, with fluency in English (Arabic preferred).
