Enterprise Telecom Field Technician - Fiber & Networking

About the role

An experienced Enterprise Telecom Field Technician is sought to support the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of enterprise telecommunications services across Dubai. The role covers hands-on work on fiber optic networks, routers, switches and LAN/WAN connectivity, with on-site technical support for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise telecom services and network equipment.
• Handle fiber optic (FTTH/FTTB), routers, switches, modems and LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
• Visit customer premises for installations, maintenance, fault diagnosis and service restoration.
• Conduct network testing, identify technical faults and ensure service quality.
• Coordinate with technical support teams to resolve complex network issues.
• Provide professional customer support and ensure timely service delivery.
• Update work orders, job status and technical reports accurately.
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicle cleanliness, uniform and professional grooming standards, and follow safety guidelines and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).
• 1-3 years of relevant telecom field experience, preferably in enterprise telecom services.
• Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, IT or Networking preferred.
• Experience in enterprise customer installations, maintenance and fault resolution.
• Ability to work independently and travel to customer sites across Dubai.
• Familiarity with field service management systems and technical reporting is an advantage.
