Enterprise Telecom Field Technician

About the role

Du Enterprise Field Operations is looking for experienced Enterprise Telecom Field Technicians to support the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of enterprise telecommunications services across Dubai. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with fiber optic networks, routers, switches, LAN/WAN connectivity and on-site technical support for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise telecom services and network equipment.
• Handle fiber optic (FTTH/FTTB), routers, switches, modems and LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
• Visit customer premises for installations, maintenance, fault diagnosis and service restoration.
• Conduct network testing, identify faults and ensure service quality.
• Coordinate with technical support teams on complex network issues.
• Provide professional customer support and ensure timely service delivery.
• Update work orders, job status and technical reports accurately.
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicle cleanliness, uniform and grooming standards, and follow safety and customer service guidelines.

Required profile

• Valid UAE driving license (mandatory; candidates without one will not be considered).
• 1-3 years of relevant telecom field experience, preferably in enterprise telecom services.
• Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, IT or Networking preferred.
• Ability to work independently and travel to customer sites across Dubai.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and customer-handling skills.

Required skills

• Fiber optics, routers, switches, LAN/WAN and network troubleshooting.
• Field service management systems and technical reporting (an advantage).

What we offer

• Monthly salary of AED 3,000-3,500.
