Environmental Engineer (UAE National)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a talented Environmental Engineer who is a UAE national to join its Abu Dhabi team. The role involves supporting environmental engineering activities across design, construction, and operational phases of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, reports and other technical documentation for procurement and construction.
• Perform engineering calculations, material quantity take‑offs, estimates, surveys and environmental designs in line with project requirements.
• Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials and support procurement activities.
• Review supplier drawings and technical submittals and assist in technical bid evaluations.
• Provide technical support to CAD designers, drafters and junior engineers, ensuring compliance with project standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
• UAE national with 1+ years of relevant engineering experience; fresh graduates are also welcome.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple assignments.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to project, client, supplier or construction sites as required.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of CAD and other engineering design software.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Capability to perform engineering calculations and prepare technical documentation.
• EIT certification or other relevant professional certifications are a plus.
