ERP Process Engineer - Manufacturing

About the role

EDGE, an advanced technology group headquartered in the UAE and based in Abu Dhabi, is hiring an ERP Process Engineer for its manufacturing business. You will work closely with production, engineering, supply chain, quality and IT teams to analyse operational workflows, improve business processes and support the implementation and enhancement of enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse manufacturing processes (production, planning, inventory, engineering and quality), run workshops and stakeholder interviews, and perform gap analysis between current and future-state processes.
• Translate business requirements into ERP and PLM solutions, configure and support modules for production, BOM, routing and product lifecycle management, and ensure integration between ERP, PLM, MES and supply chain systems.
• Support product lifecycle processes, maintain product structures, BOMs and engineering data, and improve workflows for design, engineering change management and product release.
• Create training materials and user guides, deliver end-user training and post-go-live support, and promote user adoption.
• Provide troubleshooting for ERP and PLM systems, monitor performance, and lead initiatives on process efficiency, automation and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project planning, testing, deployment and change management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
• 5-8+ years of experience in ERP and/or PLM consulting within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience delivering ERP/PLM implementation or transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of MRP, production planning, BOM management, routing and inventory control.
• Experience with leading ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• English proficiency required; unsolicited resumes from recruitment agencies are not accepted.

Required skills

• ERP and PLM implementation experience (SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics)
• Preferred: knowledge of ERP, PLM, MES and manufacturing system integrations, and SAP experience
