About the role
Dhafir Technologies is seeking an Estimation Engineer to support its oil and gas projects. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates and technical proposals for EPC tenders, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with project specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Thoroughly review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and scope to determine accurate material, labour, and operational costs.
- Prepare and submit competitive technical and commercial proposals for tenders.
- Perform detailed quantity take‑offs from project drawings.
- Issue enquiries, obtain vendor quotations, and conduct technical and commercial evaluations of offers.
- Utilize Primavera (P6) or equivalent planning software to develop comprehensive project plans and S‑Curves for inclusion in technical submissions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in estimation within the Oil and Gas sector.
- Familiarity with EPC tenders is an added advantage.
Required skills
- Primavera (P6) or equivalent planning software.
- Project planning software.
