Estimator – Bridges

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Estimator who will focus exclusively on new bridge construction projects across the UAE. The position is centred on pre‑contract cost estimation and tender preparation for flyovers, interchanges and other elevated structures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for bridge projects.
• Review IFC drawings, specifications and tender documents specific to bridge works.
• Perform quantity take‑offs for foundations, sub‑structure and super‑structure components.
• Develop rate analyses for precast segmental construction, launching girder operations and specialised formwork.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning and procurement teams to obtain accurate pricing inputs.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and support tender clarifications, negotiations and bid finalisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of UAE experience estimating bridge construction projects.
• Proven track record with main contractors on bridge/highway infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority standards (RTA, DOT, ADM, etc.).
• Ability to handle multiple tenders under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Candy software (mandatory).
• Quantity take‑offs and BOQ preparation.
• Rate build‑ups and tendering procedures.
• Bridge construction methodologies (cast‑in‑situ, precast, segmental, post‑tensioning).
• Temporary works and specialised construction equipment.
