Estimator - Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Estimator – Infrastructure to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for infrastructure projects including roads, utilities, drainage networks, potable water networks, sewerage systems, irrigation works, and associated civil works.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs and contractual requirements.
• Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs from drawings and specifications.
• Develop accurate cost estimates for roads, highways, earthworks, utilities, stormwater drainage, sewerage, potable water, irrigation systems and related civil works.
• Prepare rate build‑ups for labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors and temporary works.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and constraints.
• Analyze tender risks, opportunities and commercial considerations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning and construction teams during bid preparation.
• Prepare tender clarifications and respond to client queries.
• Assist in value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE estimation experience in infrastructure projects.
• Mandatory hands‑on experience using Candy Estimation Software.
• Proven experience preparing complete tender estimates independently.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity take‑off techniques.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent analytical and commercial acumen.
