Evaluator – Fabric & Home Care (MENA)

About the role

Join Givaudan’s Fragrance Consumer Products Development team in Dubai as an Evaluator focusing on Fabric & Home Care for the MENA region. You will work closely with Creative Fragrance Managers, Perfumers and cross‑functional teams to guide fragrance development and align it with regional consumer preferences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead evaluation projects, handling briefs for specific categories, countries or regions under CFM supervision.
• Collaborate with Perfumers to develop fragrance themes and select suitable fragrances that meet customer needs.
• Analyse regional marketing trends, forecast olfactive trends and incorporate consumer insights into fragrance development.
• Interact with sales and marketing colleagues to ensure briefs meet client requirements and prepare internal and client presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in fragrance evaluation.
• Excellent oral and written English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong olfactory skills with the ability to recognize and describe fragrance notes.
• Team player comfortable with cultural diversity and capable of presenting fragrance concepts.

Required skills

• Olfactory & evaluation expertise.
• Understanding of raw material properties for fragrance development.
• Project management skills for handling briefs and functional interfaces.
• Basic knowledge of CMI testing protocols and digital tools used by Givaudan.
