Event Operations Manager – Dubai

About the role

The Event Operations Manager will own the end‑to‑end delivery of senior, invitation‑only events across the GCC, ensuring every detail meets the high expectations of our audience. Based in Dubai, you will work closely with founders to shape the operational function as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead venue selection, catering, staging, signage and production logistics for each event.
• Build and manage critical‑path schedules, run‑of‑show documents and on‑site rehearsals.
• Brief and coordinate AV, lighting, sound, live‑streaming and recording partners.
• Design and oversee exhibition and one‑to‑one meeting areas, including décor and flow.
• Manage on‑site teams, temporary staff, registration desks and supplier relationships.
• Handle speaker, VIP and delegate logistics, from travel arrangements to on‑day hospitality.
• Negotiate contracts, control budgets and ensure cost‑effective delivery without compromising experience.
• Create processes, templates and supplier networks to support a growing portfolio of events.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of event operations or production experience, preferably with senior or invitation‑only conferences.
• Proven track record delivering events in the GCC, especially Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to run multiple events in parallel.
• Creative eye for event design and the confidence to run live shows from the side of the stage.
• Hands‑on experience managing AV and production teams.
• Excellent negotiation and budget management capabilities.
• Polished communication with senior executives, speakers and sponsors.
• Self‑starter able to work independently, travel regionally and manage remote coordination.
