Event Sales Manager

About the role

The Events Sales Manager will lead the development of group, meetings, incentives, conferences and events (MICE) business for the hotel in Abu Dhabi. Working closely with the Events, Revenue, Marketing and Operations teams, you will create tailored solutions that drive revenue and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new MICE business opportunities in the Abu Dhabi market.
• Manage and grow key client accounts, ensuring strong partnerships and repeat business.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Events, Revenue, Marketing, Operations) to design customized event proposals.
• Drive revenue targets by promoting group, conference and social event sales.
• Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts and oversee the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Produce regular sales reports and market analysis to inform strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a MICE or Events Sales Manager within the hospitality industry.
• Demonstrated track record of generating group and event revenue and achieving sales targets.
• Experience selling corporate groups, conferences, incentives, meetings, exhibitions and social events.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of MICE market trends and competitive landscape.
• Strategic, commercially minded and able to develop actionable sales plans.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
