Events Manager (Sales)

About the role

The Events Manager (Sales) leads event and group sales activities, drives revenue and profitability, and ensures seamless management of confirmed business from planning through completion. The role blends commercial strategy, client relationship management, cross‑department coordination, and team leadership to deliver exceptional events aligned with the property's luxury positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Events Sales team in generating, converting and managing event and group business while meeting revenue and profitability targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase banquet and catering revenue, average spend and function‑space utilisation.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end management of events and group stays, from enquiry through planning, execution and post‑event follow‑up.
• Ensure accurate preparation of proposals, quotations, contracts and sales agreements and coordinate handover to operations.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, agencies and key accounts to generate repeat business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Events Management, Sales, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in event sales, group management, catering sales or conference services within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Proven track record of achieving event revenue targets and improving lead conversion.
• Strong leadership and team‑development abilities.
