Executive Chef – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Executive Chef leads the culinary strategy and daily kitchen operations for the Forbes 5‑Star Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, ensuring exceptional menu quality, consistency, and memorable guest experiences across all dining venues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Culinary and Stewarding business plan, manage budgets, forecasts and financial targets.
• Partner with Food & Beverage Operations to create innovative concepts, menus and promotions that drive revenue.
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene and safety, including allergy management.
• Lead, develop and inspire a high‑performing Culinary and Stewarding team, fostering an inclusive workplace.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, food safety certifications and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Finance to optimise supplier selection, stock levels and cost control.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef, preferably with luxury hotel brands.
• Strong commercial focus with a track record of delivering profitable performance.
• Inspirational leadership and people‑management skills, able to develop large teams.
• Excellent communication skills for internal briefings and external presentations.
• Guest‑centric mindset with rigorous food quality and hygiene standards.
• Effective relationship‑building with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Creative, strategic thinker with solid problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in English and experienced in social media management.
