Executive Director Asset Management

About the role

Miral LLC is seeking an Executive Director of Asset Management to lead the strategic direction and operational execution of its real‑estate portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Portfolio Officer, you will shape department structure, drive transformation initiatives and ensure alignment with the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Chief Portfolio Officer to define department structure, staffing and strategic planning.
• Lead change initiatives, redesign processes and secure stakeholder buy‑in for smooth transitions.
• Contribute to overall corporate strategy by providing asset‑management insights and goals.
• Oversee value‑enhancement plans for each asset class, prioritize investment opportunities and set portfolio targets.
• Advise on new acquisitions, joint‑venture opportunities and coordinate related approvals.
• Manage sales and leasing strategies, external suppliers and regular performance reporting.
• Guide early negotiations with anchor tenants and operators, monitor operator performance and recommend actions.
• Provide architectural and MEP design guidelines, review asset performance and report to senior leadership.
• Foster a collaborative culture, resolve conflicts and reward teamwork across departments.
• Direct, motivate and develop team members, conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in asset management or real‑estate portfolio oversight.
• Strong strategic thinking with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated capability to manage complex transformation projects.
• Excellent communication and team‑building skills.
• Experience in evaluating acquisitions, joint ventures and leasing negotiations.
