Executive Director, Corporate Banking Dubai & NE

About the role

First Abu Dhabi Bank is seeking an Executive Director for Corporate Banking covering Dubai and the North East region. The role leads a team to grow large corporate accounts, manage client relationships and deliver revenue while maintaining credit quality.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and manage a portfolio of large corporate accounts, originating new business across banking products and ensuring deal closure with relevant stakeholders.
• Supervise day‑to‑day team activities, client interactions and credit risk assessments to meet revenue targets and maintain client satisfaction.
• Develop term sheets, information memorandums and negotiate deals, while ensuring compliance with credit, market and operational risk policies.
• Collaborate with internal partners and external stakeholders to drive cross‑selling, strategic alliances and cross‑border transactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field; a Master’s in Business Administration is preferred.
• 12+ years of banking experience with at least 8 years in senior team‑management roles.
• Deep knowledge of wholesale or investment banking and strong relationship‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Financial modelling and data analysis expertise.
• Credit analysis and financial analysis abilities.
