Executive Director, Global Markets - Sales

About the role

The Executive Director, Global Markets – Sales will join the Corporate Sales Team to originate and distribute Global Markets solutions to key corporate clients. The role requires deep knowledge of GM products and the ability to provide timely, relevant solutions, while building long‑term relationships and positioning FAB as the preferred provider.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients as a cross‑asset sales specialist to deepen relationships, originate opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
• Maintain regular engagement and thought‑leadership with key accounts, delivering solution‑driven proposals.
• Ensure compliance with FAB’s regulatory and best‑practice standards across all GM sales activities.
• Collaborate with internal coverage teams, product specialists and enablement functions to deliver integrated solutions.
• Escalate client or monetary issues promptly to line manager and promote FAB’s strategic brand.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in financial markets, preferably in corporate sales within Global Markets.
• Proven track record of delivering GM sales revenue and managing high‑pressure, high‑volume environments.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities, with experience interacting with risk, legal and compliance departments.
• Minimum degree in Accounting, Economics, Banking, Finance or related field; professional certifications are a plus.

• Risk valuations, XVA pricing and RAROC analysis.
• FX trading and options.
• Money market and credit products (repo, bonds).
• Interest‑rate derivatives, commodity solutions and equities.
• Islamic finance products.
• Use of MIS and performance metrics for portfolio growth.
