Executive Director Investment Advisor

About the role

The Executive Director Investment Advisor will deliver tailored investment solutions that align with client objectives, collaborating closely with the IA Head of DIFC. The role supports product and service launches for the GSAC/MENA segment, aiming to increase assets under management and revenue while focusing on clients directly advised by the investment advisor.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to superior performance against the regional strategic plan while upholding the highest control standards and a zero‑tolerance policy for regulatory risk.
• Provide independent opinions on client portfolios, ensuring alignment with House Views.
• Determine client risk appetite, investment preferences and return expectations in partnership with Relationship Managers.
• Drive investment engagement to promote strategic views and suitable products.
• Organise and participate in investment seminars for clients and prospects.
• Deliver high‑quality investment advice to clients and Relationship Managers, recommending suitable investments for their portfolios.
• Ensure compliance with operational risk frameworks, internal policies, and global regulations.
• Support business strategy delivery in a safe, controlled, end‑to‑end manner.
• Collaborate with the Wealth Management team to provide optimal product solutions for PvB clients.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree or Masters in Finance; CFA or equivalent certification.
• Proven ability to manage conduct, risk, and people within a financial services environment.
• Strong business knowledge of markets, products, processes and relationship management.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
