Executive Director, Structured Products & Client Solutions

About the role

This senior position leads Global Markets’ Structured Trading & Solutions activities, overseeing the structuring and execution of complex transactions, conducting risk and investment return analysis, and supporting junior traders. The aim is to maximise profitability while minimising risk exposure and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the business strategy, manage customer flow and exceed budget targets.
• Structure and trade illiquid assets such as loans, private debt/equity, CLOs and securitised receivables.
• Develop new products and collateral frameworks, incorporating capital, XVAs and other risk metrics.
• Provide pricing support, work with sales on client visits and maintain swift pricing for internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with quant teams to refine pricing models, curves and booking systems.
• Maintain strong relationships with counterparties, brokers and market participants while ensuring compliance with risk and counter‑party limits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant market experience in structured financing of illiquid assets.
• Proven track record in market‑making, risk management and delivering consistent financial performance.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency, including VBA/Macro development.
• Bloomberg terminal user.
• Experience with Murex platform (preferred).
