Executive Finance Operations (1-year Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical Executive – Finance Operations to support our fast‑paced retail finance team in Dubai. The role involves managing end‑to‑end financial operations, trade finance activities, and delivering insightful reporting to drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier payments, receivables, reconciliations and banking activities, including Letters of Credit.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards and Power BI visualisations for management decision‑making.
• Coordinate with suppliers, banks, buying, planning and logistics teams to ensure timely processing of transactions.
• Maintain robust financial controls, support audits and drive process automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; Master’s/MBA or CIMA is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of experience in Finance Operations, Trade Finance, Accounts Payable or Commercial Finance, preferably in retail or FMCG.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, financial modelling).
• Power BI reporting and dashboard creation.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE or Microsoft Dynamics.
