Executive - Workplace Technology

About the role

Apparel Group is hiring an Executive for Workplace Technology. The role covers IT support for retail and F&B stores, setting up and decommissioning IT at new and closing stores, and supporting users at Head Office.

Key responsibilities

• Store IT support: diagnose and fix POS, billing, network, biometric attendance and access control issues, investigate customer complaints, deliver remote and on-site support, and manage store support tickets within SLA.
• New store IT setup: coordinate with the project and brand team, install POS terminals, printers, scanners, cabling and peripherals, configure routers, switches, wireless APs and VLANs, set up firewalls, VPN tunnels, billing software, mPOS and biometric machines, and sign off the IT readiness checklist.
• Store closure: de-install and catalogue equipment, clean and pack assets, decommission systems, revoke credentials, wipe data, archive configurations and produce a closure completion report.
• User hardware and software support: fix laptop, desktop and printer faults, handle OS, Microsoft 365 and application issues, process Active Directory and mailbox access requests, and provide training on Microsoft 365, VPN and password management.
• User onboarding: image and configure devices, install Microsoft 365 and business apps, enrol staff in the biometric attendance system, run an IT orientation and issue assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant professional certifications in infrastructure technologies are preferred.
