Experienced Painter – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are looking for an experienced painter to maintain and enhance the interior and exterior finishes of our luxury hotel. The role requires a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely alongside hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by sanding, patching, caulking, priming and sealing.
• Apply paints, stains, varnishes and finishes using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
• Perform minor drywall repairs and remove or replace wallpaper as needed.
• Match paint colors accurately for touch‑ups and ensure uniform finishes.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and handle all materials safely according to WHMIS and OH&S standards.
• Assist with inventory management of paint and supplies and report material needs.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of professional painting experience, preferably in a commercial or hospitality setting.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg, climbing ladders or scaffolding and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s licence preferred and ability to operate hotel vehicles safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal disruption to guests.
