External Account Manager – Chemical Raw Materials Sales

About the role

Trychem is seeking a highly motivated and experienced External Account Manager to join our chemical raw materials sales team in Jafza, Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3‑4 years of sales experience in the chemical raw materials industry for the construction sector and a strong technical background in Chemical Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual growth targets in the coatings and construction chemicals market.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with customers, manufacturers, and end‑users.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
• Provide technical sales support, including product recommendations, formulation coordination, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies.
• Collaborate with clients’ R&D and supply‑chain teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.
• Prepare sales forecasts and reports for senior management decision‑making.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies and QSHE standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• Minimum 3‑4 years of sales experience in chemical raw materials, specifically in paints, coatings, adhesives, or construction chemicals within the UAE/GCC.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of resins, solvents, additives, pigments and related raw materials.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills in English.
• Ability to travel within the UAE.
