Extruder Operator – Sheet Extrusion (Mono & Multi‑layer)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Extruder Operator to join our production team in Sharjah. You will be responsible for setting up, running and maintaining sheet‑extrusion lines that produce high‑quality plastic sheets such as PET, PP, HIPS and ABS.

Key responsibilities

• Operate mono‑ and multi‑layer sheet extrusion machines.
• Set and adjust machine parameters (temperature, speed, pressure) and monitor output.
• Conduct quality checks on thickness, width and visual appearance.
• Load raw materials and manage feed systems accurately.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Clean and replace dies, screens and rolls as needed.
• Record production output and downtime.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards on the shop floor.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience with sheet extrusion (mono and multilayer).
• Technical diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work shifts and stand for long periods.

Required skills

• Sheet extrusion machine operation.
• Setting machine parameters (temperature, speed, pressure).
• Quality inspection (thickness, width, visual).
• Raw material handling.
• Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Changing dies, screens and rolls.
• Reading technical drawings.
• Knowledge of PET, PP, PE, ABS, HIPS materials.
• Familiarity with Breyer, Battenfeld and Davis Standard extrusion equipment.
