EYFS/KS1 Arabic Teacher (Full‑time)

About the role

Safa Community School, an award‑winning all‑through UK curriculum school in Dubai, is seeking a dynamic EYFS/KS1 Arabic Teacher for the new academic year. The successful candidate will join a supportive primary department and help nurture young learners in a culturally inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Arabic lessons for EYFS and KS1, ensuring alignment with the British curriculum and UAE cultural expectations.
• Use data to monitor student progress, provide timely interventions and report outcomes to parents.
• Maintain classroom discipline, contribute to team meetings and departmental policy development.
• Collaborate with support teachers, set work for known absences and take responsibility for designated curriculum areas.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a BEd or Bachelor’s degree plus PGCE/PGDE or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching EYFS/KS1 in a British‑curriculum school.
• Strong understanding of assessment and examination requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and IT skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
