Facilities Engineer (Civil)

About the role

Execute, monitor, and support civil maintenance works across facilities, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality through preventive and corrective activities.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and assess civil assets such as walls, floors, roofing, waterproofing, and external works.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs and carry out minor civil repairs across operational sites.
• Review work requests, evaluate scope and urgency, and assign tasks.
• Supervise and verify contractor work for compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Ensure timely completion of reactive maintenance and document service records in CAFM systems.
• Collaborate with QHSE and soft services to maintain cleanliness, safety, and accessibility.
• Assist FM Manager with technical reports, maintenance logs, and vendor performance feedback.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Building Maintenance.
• 5–8 years of civil maintenance experience in FM operations with hands‑on supervision.
• 5+ years in facilities engineering, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or shift‑lead role.

Required skills

• Inspection and assessment of civil structures.

• Use of CAFM systems for service record documentation.
