Faculty - Aviation Training

About the role

Blue Ocean Corporation, a global consulting, training and conferences group, is looking for a faculty member to deliver aviation training. The role covers classroom and virtual sessions, assessment and preparation for IATA certification.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct engaging classroom and virtual training sessions, workshops, webinars and practical learning activities.
• Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, mock tests and other methods.
• Provide constructive feedback, individual guidance and extra academic support.
• Run revision sessions and mock examinations to prepare students for IATA certification exams.
• Incorporate industry examples and practical insights into training.
• Keep up to date with aviation developments, IATA regulations and new training methods, and take part in professional development events.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive environment for a multicultural student audience.

Required profile

• Valid IATA certification relevant to the training domain.
• At least 5 years of experience in the aviation industry, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Mandatory experience working with an airline.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a master's degree is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IATA regulations, standards, procedures and industry practices.
• Proven ability to develop comprehensive training materials.
• Excellent communication, presentation and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in training tools and technologies for classroom and virtual learning.
• Ability to motivate and manage students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
