Faculty Position in Business – HR Management

About the role

The role involves delivering effective instruction in business and HR management subjects to second‑language learners within a student‑centric environment. It also includes active participation in academic and extracurricular activities at the college and within the community.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the implementation of HCT’s system‑wide strategy and develop faculty policies.
• Teach courses using applied approaches and educational technology, ensuring alignment with syllabus and program goals.
• Assess student learning, provide continuous feedback, and maintain accurate grading records.
• Advise and mentor students, including support during internships and at‑risk action plans.
• Conduct applied research relevant to the division’s interests and national innovation agenda.
• Serve on faculty, program, campus, and system‑wide committees and support industry and community engagement.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, or a Master’s degree with professional certification and at least five years of teaching and industry experience; extensive industry experience may substitute for a Ph.D.
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience in the relevant discipline.
• At least three years of relevant industry experience (preferred).
• Experience developing curriculum in line with accreditation and international standards.
• Proven ability to incorporate educational technology into teaching and assessment strategies.
