Family Physician

About the role

Al Nahrain Medical Center 1 is looking for a Family Physician to provide comprehensive primary care to individuals and families across all age groups, focusing on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. The role is full-time and on-site in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, and is paid on a profit-sharing basis.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, perform physical examinations and order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and develop evidence-based care plans
• Manage urgent care needs and coordinate referrals to specialists
• Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with other healthcare professionals on community health initiatives

Required profile

• Valid MOH unrestricted license to practice medicine in the UAE (a must)
• Must speak Arabic
• Valid medical degree (MD or equivalent) and completed residency in Family Medicine or a closely related specialty
• Experience or demonstrated interest in community health, preventive care and patient education

Required skills

• Strong foundation in primary care and family medicine, covering acute and chronic conditions
• Clinical expertise in medicine and urgent care, with excellent clinical judgment
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and willingness to follow clinic protocols, quality standards and infection control practices
