Fashion Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Accountant to lead end‑to‑end accounting operations within our fashion business. The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, ERP expertise and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, including accruals, provisions and journal entries.
• Maintain the general ledger and perform intercompany, balance‑sheet and other reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and support internal and external audits.
• Prepare MIS reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Drive process‑improvement and automation initiatives, particularly within the ERP system.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent; CA / ACCA (part‑qualified preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical abilities and the capacity to work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP).
• ERP experience – Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar.
• VAT regulations knowledge.
• General accounting principles.
