F&B Attendant – Employee Canteen

About the role

Join the hospitality team at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa as an F&B Attendant for the Employee Restaurant. You will help create a clean, welcoming dining environment where colleagues can enjoy meals and recharge during their workday.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the Employee Restaurant and food service areas before each meal period.
• Serve and assist colleagues during breakfast, lunch, dinner and other meal periods.
• Replenish buffet items, beverages, cutlery and supplies throughout service.
• Maintain clean, organised and presentable food displays and service areas.
• Clear and clean tables promptly during and after meals.
• Perform opening and closing duties for the Employee Restaurant.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
• Report low supplies, damaged equipment or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with culinary and stewarding teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Ability to lift, push and pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kg), including bending and kneeling.
• Basic reading, writing and numeracy skills.
• Previous experience in food service, cafeteria or restaurant is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, helpful attitude when serving colleagues.
• Understanding of cleanliness and food hygiene standards.
• Ability to stay organised during peak meal periods.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
