About the role
The Ritz-Carlton is hiring a full-time F&B Service Expert (server) for its pool and beach area in Dubai, near Jumeirah Beach Residences. The role is non-management and focuses on delivering a memorable dining experience through attentive service, from setting tables and communicating with the kitchen to serving guests and keeping work areas clean.
Key responsibilities
- Serve guests and interact with them throughout their meal
- Set tables and communicate with the kitchen
- Clean work areas and supplies
- Manage the menu by reading and visually verifying information
- Follow company policies and procedures, uphold quality standards and maintain a safe workplace
- Keep uniform, personal appearance and communications professional
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Less than 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and move over uneven or slippery surfaces
- Able to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds unassisted and 50 pounds with assistance, and to reach overhead and below the knees
