Female Technician

About the role

The Female Technician provides professional, engaging and friendly service while maintaining hotel facilities, including building upkeep, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and pool and spa maintenance. The role ensures all preventative maintenance tasks are performed, safety standards are met, and guest requests are addressed promptly. You will work closely with the operations team to keep the property running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain buildings, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring and related maintenance activities.
• Inspect facilities and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
• Review job orders, prioritize work, and schedule repairs, maintenance, and installations.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs and pool/spa upkeep.
• Respond immediately to emergency requests such as fire alarms, water flooding, or gas alarms.
• Perform regular checks and cleaning of plant rooms, sump pumps, chillers, generators, and HVAC equipment.
• Carry out daily and monthly PPM tasks, including side‑kick, PRV, booster heaters, and ice‑machine filter replacement.
• Monitor energy consumption, meter readings, and implement conservation measures.
• Ensure proper sign‑in/out of tools and equipment and use PPE during all tasks.
• Report hazards, equipment abuse, and follow all safety procedures.

Required profile

• Highly responsible and reliable.
• Previous experience with painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and related maintenance.
• Experience with pool and spa maintenance is an asset.
• Ability to work cohesively with colleagues with minimal supervision.
• Self‑starter who can make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written); additional language is a plus.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Willingness to stand and walk throughout the shift.
