Field Application Engineer

About the role

Analog is seeking a Field Application Engineer to join its robotics team in Abu Dhabi. You will work directly with customers to implement, integrate, and optimise advanced robotic systems, ensuring they meet performance expectations and deliver value.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for robot implementation, guiding customers through setup, integration and optimisation.
• Provide expert advice on robotics hardware components such as arms, sensors and actuators, and assist with selection and configuration.
• Support software integration, including coding to connect Analog’s Orbit platform with customer work‑order systems.
• Design and review system architecture to guarantee reliable performance of hardware‑software combinations.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, product management and sales teams to align solutions with customer needs.
• Deliver on‑site or remote training, troubleshooting and ongoing support throughout the product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in robotics or automation.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand both hardware and software aspects of robotic systems.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and internal collaboration.
