Field Application Specialist – Clinical Diagnostics

About the role

Bio‑Rad’s Clinical Diagnostics Group is seeking a motivated Field Application Specialist to support its Quality Control, HbA1c, Hemoglobinopathies and Autoimmune product lines in the UAE. The role is field‑based, involves travel and close collaboration with sales managers, technical support and channel partners.

Key responsibilities

• Drive short‑ and long‑term sales results for Quality Control and informatics solutions within the assigned territory.
• Generate new business through meetings, product demonstrations, seminars, webinars and training sessions.
• Provide on‑site application support for installed instruments, working with technical support, service and sales teams.
• Plan, execute and follow up sales activities targeting high‑value customers and key market segments.
• Engage Key Opinion Leaders and decision‑makers at strategic accounts.
• Maintain expert knowledge of assigned technologies and share insights with the sales team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory sciences or a related scientific discipline.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities; capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales experience or laboratory experience; experience presenting at seminars or workshops is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Quality Control, HbA1c, Hemoglobinopathies and Autoimmune diagnostics.
• Understanding of IT systems and informatics solutions related to laboratory instrumentation.
