Field Engineer II – Wireline Services

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a motivated Field Engineer II to join its Wireline Services team in Abu Dhabi. You will work on wellsite activities under general supervision, supporting completions logging and equipment maintenance while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Execute routine wellsite tasks and follow detailed instructions for wireline operations.
• Assist with completions logging services both at the workshop and on‑site.
• Perform minor maintenance on wireline equipment.
• Collaborate with the Customer Representative and drill crew on routine rig matters.
• Document assemblies run at the wellsite and maintain accurate records.
• Follow Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance, and core values in all activities.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
• At least 1 year of experience in wireline services.
• Completion of Phase 2 of the LEAD Field Engineer Development Program.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
