Field Engineer – Offshore Projects

About the role

The Field Engineer will support offshore construction activities by ensuring that all procedures, permits, and resources are in place and followed. This role involves close coordination with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams to keep projects on schedule and compliant with HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Study and execute mobilisation plans for offshore projects.
• Ensure offshore procedures are established, communicated, and adhered to.
• Secure availability of work permits, construction aids, equipment, materials, and consumables.
• Perform forward planning and prepare detailed procedures.
• Allocate daily tasks to work crews and monitor progress.
• Act as liaison between client, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist Superintendents, Construction Engineers, Project Managers, and other senior staff.
• Prepare daily progress reports and field engineer documentation.
• Compile completion documentation, as‑built drawings, and lessons learned while ensuring HSE compliance.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in offshore work.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Team‑player attitude with a commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to work both onshore and offshore and to learn complex tasks and procedures.
