Field IT Specialist

About the role

The Field IT Specialist provides on‑site technical support at the Al Jurf site office for Ohana Development. Reporting to the Head of IT, the role ensures reliable operation of end‑user devices, Microsoft 365 services, network connectivity, meeting‑room technology, printers, IT assets and CCTV systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver walk‑up and ticket‑based user support, resolving hardware, Windows, Microsoft 365, connectivity and printing issues.
• Prepare, image and deploy computers, mobile devices and peripherals; manage devices through Intune, Windows Autopilot, Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Provide first‑line LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN and internet support, including switches, routers, firewalls and VLANs.
• Apply security baselines, respond to Microsoft Defender alerts, maintain patch compliance and report malware or phishing incidents.
• Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory, track equipment lifecycle and coordinate warranties and repairs.
• Support meeting‑room AV equipment and CCTV systems, performing routine checks and escalating faults.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 3‑5 years of IT support experience, preferably in site‑office, construction or property‑development environments.
• CompTIA A+ preferred; Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD‑102) or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS‑900) valued; ITIL 4 Foundation preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, clear communication with non‑technical users and accurate ticket documentation.
