Field IT Support Engineer – Retail & Fulfilment

About the role

The Field IT Support Engineer – Retail & Fulfilment is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Dubai. You will ensure that retail stores, fulfilment centres and related facilities run smoothly by delivering reliable technical support for all IT equipment and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain POS systems, handheld devices, network equipment and store‑level applications.
• Respond to support requests, diagnose hardware, software and network issues, and resolve them promptly.
• Escalate complex problems to senior teams while minimizing downtime.
• Perform routine system checks, monitor performance and document incidents and resolutions.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for repairs, upgrades and service level compliance.
• Support technology rollouts, assist with user training and ensure adherence to service level agreements.

Required profile

• Strong technical support and help‑desk experience with end‑user issue resolution.
• Solid IT foundation, preferably with exposure to retail and fulfilment environments.
• Proficient troubleshooting skills under time‑sensitive conditions.
• Experience in system administration for user accounts, device configurations and basic server/network tasks.
• Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Excellent communication, ability to work independently across multiple locations and adapt to changing operational needs.
• Knowledge of ITIL or similar service‑management frameworks and ticketing systems is a plus.
