Field Service Engineer – Equipment Installation & Maintenance

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join its Field Service Operations team in Dubai. You will be responsible for on‑site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of high‑speed separators, decanters and plate heat exchangers across various process industries.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning and fault finding on equipment according to Alfa Laval standards.
• Execute audits, service agreements and preventive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and PLC control systems (EPC, 2‑Touch, Basic & Plus).
• Train customer personnel and fellow engineers on product features and safe operating procedures.
• Document service visits, resolve customer complaints promptly and recommend spare part purchases.
• Support remote guidance services and contribute to business development opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of field service experience with heat‑exchange equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently on customer sites and adhere to safety and quality procedures.
• Good communication skills in English.
